Biographical Information: Both Billy and Joanna Coppedge grew up in homes that exposed them to missionaries and their passions for world evangelism. In their teens and early 20’s, both experienced short term mission trips that continued their interest and heart for missions.
As single seminary students on separate missions trips in Africa, God called them to Uganda. Six months later, they married, finished their seminary studies and returned to Uganda to begin a new work for WGM in northern Uganda that will reach into southern Sudan and northeast Congo.
The Coppedge’s ministry is focused on pastoral training and church leadership. They build relationships with people seeking to lead the local church. As these relationships grow, they disciple and train believers. They are vitally involved with pastors and other church leaders of Africa Gospel Church.
