Hotel

Hotel guests are welcomed into a rustic three-story facility graced with southern warmth and charm. The Hotel stands within walking distance of the Main Tabernacle and Cafeteria. The wrap-around porch provides a relaxing atmosphere for genuine fellowship. Porch Prayer Meetings are held each evening at 6:30 where guests gather for testimonies, short devotionals and prayer.

The Hotel’s 94 rooms vary in size and shape; some sleep as many as ten guests! Most of the Hotel rooms have lavatories and towel racks. All rooms are equipped with clothes hanging racks, table, chair, and air-conditioner.

Community restrooms are located on each wing of the hotel with several toilets and shower stalls in each. Restrooms are cleaned daily. Guests are required to bring their own linens and toiletries and are responsible for their own housekeeping.

Guests can enjoy fresh coffee and snacks in the hotel office. An air-conditioned parlor offers comfort and relaxation. A refrigerator and microwave are available for use by all Hotel/Motel guests. Cooking utensils such as hot plates, toasters or microwave ovens are not allowed in the Hotel rooms. Coolers are allowed; ice may be purchased off site.

When making Hotel reservations, please specify the number of guests and indicate special needs (i.e. cannot climb stairs, close to restroom, etc.) Floors above ground level are not wheelchair accessible. Hotel rooms are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Check in time is 1:00 pm.; check out time is 11:00 am. We are unable to check in Hotel guests before 1:00 pm. on the first day of camp (Thursday, July 10, 2008). Hotel guests should check out by noon on Monday after the last Sunday of camp (Monday, July 21, 2008).

Hotel rooms are $20 per night. Reservations can be made any time after January 1, 2008, and through camp meeting. Reservations must be confirmed with a $25 minimum deposit by May 31, 2008. Rooms not confirmed by the deadline will be considered vacant and available for other patrons without notification. All rooms in the Hotel must be occupied by at least one adult age 19 or older.

Guests interested in staying in the hotel should contact Paige Medlock by May 31, 2008, and send a $25 minimum deposit by that date for reservations. Due to the popularity of these facilities, there is typically a waiting list for accommodations. Hotel reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
