Faith That Transforms: Experiencing New Life in God

In some way, our experience is the core of our understanding of the world. It’s our experience that dictates how we interact with people and ideas around us. The key is to not let our experience override what we know to be true, but to allow truth to inform our experiences, especially when it comes to faith. In this sermon, Dr. Chris Bounds discusses the first three words in the Apostle’s Creed: “I Believe In.” He helps us think about what it means to have a personal faith and dives into several tiers of what that faith can look like, culminating in the Wesleyan understanding of Scriptural Holiness as the pinnacle of taking God at his word regarding what our faith should look like.
