5K Run/Walk for Missions
Saturday 8:00 am at Snackateria. Attention all runners: Put on your running shoes and join enthusiastic runners, walkers and pushers-of-baby-carriages! This popular event raises funds for our missionaries. You’ll be in good company with over 150 participants running a course through the campground. Compete for one of three categories: Adult Male, Adult Female and Child Under 12.
Saturday after 11:00 am Service – Main Tabernacle. Bring physical, emotional and spiritual healing needs to the altar for a special time of prayer. Our ministers will anoint with oil, as mentioned in . You may come for yourself or stand in for a loved one while praying. Prayer time is quiet and meditative so each person can give his or her concern to God.
Asbury University Day
Saturday after 7:30 pm Service – Cafeteria. Alumni, current students and prospective students gather for a social in the Cafeteria. Keep informed of important updates on new academic opportunities and various mission teams presented by AU personnel. If you are interested in attending AU, this event offers a glimpse of the close knit Asbury community which circles the globe.
Sunday after 3:00 pm Service – Main Tabernacle. Share memories about a special person who attended Indian Springs camp at our annual Memorial Service. Asbury Theological Seminary Night
Monday after 7:30 p.m. Service – Cafeteria. Alumni, current students and prospective students gather for a social in the Cafeteria. Keep informed of important updates on new academic opportunities presented by ATS personnel. If you are interested in attending ATS, this event offers a glimpse of the close knit Asbury Seminary community which circles the globe.
Special Prayer Service
Tuesday 7:00 am – Main Tabernacle. Join in a special time of prayer around the altars. Bring your personal needs or offer prayers for the general needs of the camp ground including all speakers, ministries, team leaders, staff, workers and the Board of Trustees.
Wednesday after 7:30 pm Service – Cafeteria. Join in a social reception that honors our WGM missionary families. Enjoy the opportunity to talk directly with them and ask questions about their ministry. There is usually some type of media presentation that shows details of their everyday ministry and challenges.
Thursday, Main Missionary Service 7:00 pm – Main Tabernacle. In order to share the missionary experience with all ages on the campground, a missionary speaker visits each of our ministries. Camp families are encouraged to share meals with our missionaries in order to understand the needs of that particular ministry. Our missionaries are from One Mission Society (OMS International).
Old Fashioned Hymn Sing
Friday after 3:00 pm Service – Main Tabernacle. Join us for a festive round of singing your favorite hymns! Inspired by “Mr. Von” Taylor, this is now an official camp event! Our wonderful pianist and organist add to the enthusiasm of our hymn sing. You can even sing a solo, if you desire! You pick the song number, and we’ll sing it!
Winter Prayer Retreat
Friday – Sunday. “Call Unto Me” Prayer Retreat is for both men and women (children may also attend). Prayer Facilitators are Dan and Kathy Beth Searls and Dr. Allan Coppedge. Sponsored by The Ladies Fellowship and Titus Women. A Holy Heart event.
