The Indian Springs family welcomes Dr. Ken Banter as the new President of Indian Sprinigs Holiness Camp Meeting. He was elected President during our July 2023 camp meeting.

Ken currently serves as the Senior Title 1 Program Manager for the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE). Prior to joining GaDOE, Ken served in the Peach County Schools for 31 years in various roles: teacher, Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, Principal, and Federal Programs Director.

Ken first began attending Indian Springs Holiness Camp Meeting in 1977 as an Asbury College student who served as a youth counselor. He is married to Mary Jean McKenzie of Fort Valley whose family has been long-time members of the Indian Springs family.

Ken and Mary Jean have attended Indian Springs with their family ever since they were married. The Banters have three adult children and three grandchildren. Ken joined the Board of Trustees in 1997. He has served for the last several years as Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee. His vision for Indian Springs is to continue fulfilling the mission of Indian Springs Holiness Camp Meeting and to preserve our message and grounds for future generations.
