Wesley Woods

The Board of Trustees is pleased to announce a new area of cottage devlopment on our campground:  Wesley Woods.  Our new neighborhood honors John Wesley and early Methodists who impacted the growth of churches across America, as well as the develoment of many Wesleyan-Arminian camp meetings.

The Board has approved the designation of 15 new lots on the campground near Swift Avenue and Second Street, and two streets beyond.  The lot sizes will be approximately 75’ x 100’.  Presently, small “starter cottages” are being developed by an architect, interior designer and contractor who understand the changing needs of camp meeting families.  The style will blend with our existing eclectic architectural cottages.  We will let you know when there are floorplans to view!

The Board anticipates clearing some of the lots during Fall-Winter 2023-2024 in preparation of cottage homes to hopefully be built over the next 2-7 years.

In clearing the lots, future cottage holders can more easily envision a cottage in this area.  The Board hopes the cleared lots will inspire prayers and dreams for future cottages.

During our 2023 camp meeting, you are encouraged to walk or drive to the new location.  The different lots are marked by white pipes in the ground.  We anticipate that the new community will have extra parking places and some green areas for play.
